ABOUT US
Uni-Rex (FRC 5817) is a student-led high school robotics team located in Sanger, California. We provide students with an inspiring and informative experience in the field of STEM through hands-on education and the FIRST Robotics Competition. Our members learn to become excellent engineers, leaders, and more through our all-encompassing program. From programming to manufacturing, videography to business management, Uni-Rex hosts a profession for all high school students to explore.
FIRST® is a global nonprofit organization that prepares young people for the future through a suite of life-changing youth robotics programs that build skills, confidence, and resilience.
Our team competes in FIRST®’s 9th-12th program, the FIRST® Robotics Competition. Teams of students are challenged to raise funds, design a team "brand," hone teamwork skills, and build/program industrial-size robots to play a difficult field game against like-minded competitors.
