Bringing Robotics to Fairmont Elementary School

Today, a team of Uni-Rex students visited Fairmont Elementary School to showcase our robot, programs, and STEM career opportunities. They traveled classroom to classroom, presenting information to hundreds of students at all grade levels.

For younger students, we explained what FRC is and encouraged them to explore robotics through the Sanger LEGO program at their school. For older students, we provided steps on how to join Uni-Rex as well as the Engineering Pathway– a 4-year high school curriculum that prepares students for careers in engineering.

Throughout all presentations, our primary goal was to embolden Fairmont students to explore STEM as a whole, emphasizing the expansive career opportunities waiting for them in science and technology.
