Uni-Rex Hosts Central Valley Robotics Scrimmage

Uni-Rex hosted its annual CVR Scrimmage this weekend at our shop. We invited teams from across the valley to test out their robots on a full-scale field, courtesy of our fabrication department. Teams had the opportunity to calibrate their robots and utilize our technical resources at the beginning of the event, granting them the opportunity to make last-minute adjustments before the Central Valley Regional (CVR) competition.

After the open shop period, scrimmages were held between the teams. We followed competition-standard rules and kept track of scores, though emphasized the importance of these matches as practice. Our scrimmage was an invaluable opportunity for all students involved. Rookies were introduced to the general structure and expectations of FRC competitions, while veterans could hone their skills before CVR.

We thank every team who participated and look forward to CVR!
